Sergeant Dorian James has been a Chicago Police Officer since 2006. Throughout his career, Dorian has received numerous awards for his service to the city of Chicago: 5 Deployment Operation Center Awards, The Crime Reduction Award, 3 Department Commendations, The Presidential Deployment Award, The Unit Meritorious Performance Award, 74 Honorable Mentions, 4 Complimentary Letters from City Officials, and The NATO Summit Award. Sergeant James is a certified Illinois Concealed Carry Firearms Instructor and also certified by the National Rifle Association of America (NRA).
